|Why should you say Yes to our Pricing Manager role?
Worldpay is the global leader in the payments industry. Our client base includes some of the largest online retail merchants operating in the global economy. We are looking for a Pricing Manager to support with our growth and retention plans for 2019. Helping construct and shape corporate deals with UK customers, you will apply a combination of your technical pricing skills with your broader commercial acumen. You will play a significant role in helping Worldpay optimise our deals supported with thorough and detailed analysis.
What would I be doing on a daily basis?
Operating as a Commercial Business Partner, you will conduct pricing analysis providing recommendations on market conditions to support and contribute to UK new pricing strategy.
You will conduct benchmarking and positioning analysis to support the development of existing and new pricing structures to maintain a competitive price position. You will take ownership of driving initiatives and process improvements to increase profitability. You will partner with the Customer Loyalty Team to give guidance and offer bespoke solutions for pricing escalations from valued customers.
What will make me right for the role?
You must have at least 2-3 years commercial experience in a pricing analysis or cost modelling role or potentially coming from a Finance Planning & Analysis background.
You will have experience of analysis large data sets and be equally comfortable “in the detail” as you are providing commercial insight, recommendations and consultative advice.
Strong numerical skills are essential so a degree in maths, economics or a finance will be advantageous. Blending communication and influencing skills you should be comfortable engaging with a wide range of business areas whether via email or in face to face discussions/presentations.
Advanced Excel skills are required for this role (Vlookup, Pivot tables) for managing / manipulating pricing models .
