Worldpay are re-engineering our core payments platform to be more cost effective, scalable and cloud ready utilizing the latest cutting edge technologies. This requires the very best engineering talent to get us there as we implement this new phase of technical and cultural change.
How will you contribute?
You will support Worldpay in embedding and nurturing a mind-set of continuous improvement, learning from experience and researching other ways of solving problems. Acting as a mentor and leader you will guide the team as we foster an engineering mind-set, embed Agile processes and implement Micro Services Architecture.
Why you?You are an experienced engineer who has developed throughout their career to gain Technical Leadership and Line Management experience of one or more teams. You have management off-shore & near-shore resources and have a proven ability to build & lead new teams, foster and retain talent.
You are a hands on engineer with strong technical knowledge and have extensive experience with Micro-services and cloud platforms. You also have a good knowledge of architecture, design patterns and are up to date on approached such as Event Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing & CQRS.
