You will work closely with each of the disciplines within the Delivery Team (Product Owner, Design, Development & Test) to complete test analysis, test design, manual and automated test execution integrating closely to deliver User Stories.
Define and create test cases from analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability). Produce test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services. Specifies requirements for environment, data, resources and tools. Interpret, execute and document complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards. Record and analyse actions and results, and maintains a defect register. Review test results and modifies tests if necessary. Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues. Produce reports on system quality and metrics on test cases.
Work closely with the Test Manager to enhance test processes on an ongoing basis.
Conduct reviews of supplied specifications, with others as necessary, estimate testing effort and documents all work in accordance with agreed standards.
